Let's wait and see what the new principal can do for the school to prove her worth.
We will definately missed Mrs Ho, but will also look forward to having Ms Chua to lead the school. I really think this discussion is totally irrelevant, especially by parents whose kids are not in PL (yet).kiasu p1 parent:
Are you sure? I heard otherwise leh.
Ms Chua Soh Leng will bring PLMGPS to greater heights. She has done quite a lot for Punggol Primary School and I believe she will inject some fresh ideas into the school.
Principals are key to shaping and strengthening the traditions and ethos of the schools. They lead and inspire teachers, and work with parents and the community to prepare our young for the future. As the front-line contact between MOE and the public and parents, Principals play an important role in furthering their understanding of school programmes and the education system.
The process of systematically appointing and rotating Principals allows schools to benefit from the infusion of fresh perspectives and enables experienced Principals to share best practices in support of ‘Every School, a Good School’. It also gives the Principals the opportunity to take on different challenges as part of their career development.
Sorry, if I offend anyone. I'm just :? :scratchhead:

Is there a report..? I thought there wasn't a report book for P1
-
Kiss:
I had the impression that there will be. The marks from the check-points will be used in the tabulation of the overall marks for the year.
Hence I will not be surprised if the report book reflects something like this
1st Combined (100%) 2nd Combined (100%) Overall(100%)
English 95.8 95.9 96
Chinese 100 93 95
Math 99 97 98
....
Just a thought...Kissgurami:

Hi whalezup and BB Love, the house t-shirt are for sports day, certain school events, teacher's/children's day and excursions so you might need just 1 house t-shirt and 1 pair of skortswhalezup:
Needs to buy house t shirts? What's that?
Hi BB Love, i was told by Shirley Uniform that the house t-shirt is for special events. I'm hoping to find out more on orientation day.
Your DD's class and house details are in the orientation letter. Highly suggest that you bring all the letters when buying the uniforms

Thank you all!
I guess I missed that out.
