Tokidoki, your DS sch is those meticulous typeTokidoki:
My boy's school provides very detailed stats on min, mean, median and max scores for all subjects for his class and whole P1 level.
There's no such break down for dd1's level, not sure abt the upper levels.
I know parents like to know such stats to find out where own kids' progress are in relation to others. But I don't see the pt. heehee.
I find it good to have, so that i can see his std. But his school was really stress free for P1, as in not much homework and no exams (at least i was not informed). His teacher also nvr stress them to get 100% and there's also no class ranking. His form teacher did not even reveal who are the top 3 in class, as of on Monday. So i'm very thankful for a stress free P1. Hopefully next yr won't change too drastically.

My dd has normal lesson in class till Friday but will release at 11 am on that day follow by parent-teacher meeting. She told me normal lesson cos the teacher is teaching them the P2 stuff. She got back her report book once in May and now again with the total scores and %. Position in class is not recorded on the report book but will be informed by the teacher during the PTM.

Wow P2 stuff liao. The teachers do not waste time. Does that mean you have the P2 textbks liao? -
SAHM_TAN:
No, not yet. Maybe just going thru with them some simple stuff. Since it will be the same Form teacher for the class next year so she might as well teach some of it so that she can be a bit relax next year. :rotflmao:pchong:
