My son does follow us when we are out. If he ran about, sometimes he will look back but we always have him in sight, don’t want to really lose him. So not sure if he will cry or not. Hmm, maybe I shall test him out near our neighbourhood, I hide behind a pillar and see if he comes looking for me.

          Helplessmum,

Dr lian wee bin is very experience in this field. Perhaps you might want to seek for second opinion. She was formerly with sgh but just set up private clinic recently.

                The New Age Parents

Mom asked "I have a 5 year old boy who can’t talk. He can only call "papa" or "mama" but nothing else. Went to kkh child development Dr Lim but each time we went, she didn’t say much about his development nor have any recommendations on what to do to make him better. Also, his behavior is at times very bad. As in he throws tempers and cries alot and no matter what we do, he will not stop. "

He has repetitive behaviours : open & close the drawer at 2yo. (back then I thought he is explorering how drawers works.)_ lol.

No Index finger pointing & share interest at 2yo (according to physcologist) at 1.5yo, kids should have this index finger pointing very much already.)
Always “self-service” to take things that he want at 2yo
Sensory issue: He cant stand drillings of walls & vacumm cleaner sound at 2 yo
Did not response to him name at 2yo…

So these are the basis of classified my son is Autistic at 2yo or PDD NOS
