      Vevey:
Need to make a quick decision abt BiCEP by tonight, so experienced parents, please help...

      1) is there much homework/projects/preparation needed at home? Not much homework but every Mon 2 hours after class.

      2) Does your kid find e program interesting &/or demanding? If yes, in what ways? Yes, so far my DD enjoys it. They learn alot of Chinese culture, hstory and they have SHHK camp (no staying) in P4. She loves this. Fun and interesting. P5 will have a compulsory trip to TW or CN.

3)is there lots of memorizing or test? Nope. only one test end of the yr

      4) is it possible to drop out mid program if can't cope? nope. is a 3 yrs commitment

Ds quite a potato, so in a way we thought e program might b useful to interest him in Chinese culture n history etc
I never regret my DD joins the program though was rather worried that she has no time for homework. She don't find it stressful to be in it.

Out of the top 10% who qualified for Edusave scholarship, 25 of them are from 6A & 10 of them are from 6B. The principal & HOD think that 6A is already at its peak & whereas 6B can be stretched further. This is also the reason of HODs being allocated to 6B instead of 6A.

Agreed. Not necessary best class will get best teachers. Understand years ago they did that but not now.

                        Change principal, everything changed.

Good to hear that good teachers are not allocated in the best class. However, 6A standard is still the best leh compare to 6B, 6C led by HOD.

Just to check is A class the best of all or A and B are equally best?

Agree, 6A is the best class. There are many good teachers beside HODs. HODs should take up classes that need them the most or classes that can be stretched further.
