      Hi,

Does anyone know how is the typical p1 sch time table like? Do I need to get a big sch bag that can hold A4 file?
Hi, yes, best to get a fairly light bag which can hold A4 files. Lots of files to contain the various worksheets (English, Mother Tongue and Maths)!

The P1 timetable is actually quite well thought out. Everyday, there are usually about 5 periods of English and Maths altogether, 3 periods of MTL, recess of course, and some physical activity ( Mass PE, normal PE or the 2-hour enrichment programme, PAL). The 'happy' activities like Music, Art & Craft, Health Ed and Assembly and spread throughout the week, so it's quite enjoyable for the children, I find.

It's good for parents to check their kids' bags daily. There are letters from the teacher which your child may forget to give you, and the homework is often stuffed into the bag. Gotta check the NAPS notebook for possible notes and reminders from the teacher. Hope the info was useful! πŸ™‚

        streaming is done at:-

end of P2 into P3, and
        end of P4 into P5.

        so after streaming,
pupils remain in the same class for (P3 and P4), and for (P5, P6).

which are the top few classes for P5, P6 ?
is there a lot of homework for these classes ?

overall, how you find the Teachers in Upper primary @ Ngee Ann?

For the PSLE, they only released the names of students who scored higher than 250. There are only 24 of them in the whole P6 cohort. A students in the 16th position got 267, but I'm not sure what the 1st students score. 🀷
