Guys, I am extremely disappointed with my daughter's results. She only got 272 marks this year! I heard that a large number of people got 280 and above. I am so sad right now. What can you do with 272? Sigh. I'm not trying to make other people with terrible scores like say, 260 feel sad, but this is really annoying. Yes, jtoh. RI has been his dream school (as well as mine). He was expecting a better result but to get 263 is already a good one. Thank you for your view! We will want to give RI a shot too! Just wasn't sure if it is safer than just going for Hwa Chong as 1st choice.

Hi FQW,

Pointless to look back…I need to compose myself to move on.
I have never aimed at RI or above 240. Whatever went wrong during his exams is useless to talk about now.

Would this be enough for an IP programme? Any school to recommend?

It seems 250+1 is good enough for many good schools e.g. SJI, VS, CHS, ACS(I) under the O-level track, but falls short of the cut-off point for IP programme A-Level track. So near, yet so far........

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

River Valley is 253. one of the lowest, if not the lowest, COP for IB or IP programme.

My friend’s kid had 192 and is wondering if a good school NA programme is better than a lower end Express school.

I have a friend's son who got 20x and got into a neighbourhood secondary school. Last year, this boy was one of the top in his secondary school with 7 distinctions. Don't be disheartened. Celebrate his efforts and encourage him to work hard in his secondary school. Jia you!
