would be very much appreciates that anyone good advices on Bukit Panjang Government High School as we had missed the BPGHS opened house on 17-Nov-2012.

We are considering between Bukit Panjang Government High School /Swiss Cottage Secondary School/Kranji Secondary School for our son S1 Posting 2012.

Any information on subjects offering option, class size and CCA will be very helpful.

Most main stream schools offer the same set of subjects in Sec 1 and 2. Schools will have different combinations when come to Sec 3.

For Bukit Panjang Government High School / Swiss Cottage Secondary School, you can find the information on Sec 3 subjects on their school website.

Kranji Secondary School does not put such info on its website. You may want to call the school to check it.

The class size for BPGHS n Swiss Cottage should be around 40 pupils per class. 5 express, 2NA, 1NT. But up to MOE to decide whether want to increase class or not. If you missed the BPGHS Opened House, the school still has Guided Tour to tour around the school on selected date, 24, 26 n 27Nov. Pls call the school for more info.

We have tried to call BPGHS office for more info but not avail. And was directed to an answering voice message informed that it’s closed on weekend.

No problem and we have visited Kranji open house today and will join the BPGHS guided tour for the school on 26/27-Nov.

BPGHS performs relatively well in one corner of the western zone of Singapore. Its one of the top 5 in Singapore for the NA streams. The teaching and approach are quite well structured. One classic example is the ground work and preparation of students for the 'O' Level as early as in the first quarter of the fiscal year.
