I have a question to enquire… Does anyone know anything about SPA - SOTA Parents Association ?? Anyone have any comments or can let me know if I can join or should join ??
What do they do or require to do ??

Really? Did'nt know i'm the only mum with a DS in this thread. Hope to see more parents with sons in this thread. Anyone can advise how much cash i should bring on reporting day for books/uniforms? What shoes do they wear ?

What shoes do they wear ?[/quote]I don't usually advise carrying alot of cash anywhere you go. The school accept NETS, so that's convenient. You can also pay by cheque but no receipts issued for this. If you really have to bring cash, you'll need about close to $800 maybe? Depending on how many sets of uniform you purchase. Per set costs around $50+ for guys as I believe the long pants cost more. You'll need PE uniforms too, sorry I forgot how much this set costs. I bought 3 sets each and they lasted me for 6 years (value for money right? of course, you must take care during laundrying in order to last).Also if you have to pay for textbooks on the same day, ie about $300-400? For VA students even more.

$800 this amount should be quiet safe of course, you can bring more if you want to.
