I believe that most parents are so concerned on the results at PSLE, which is the first exam of the life of Singapore children. I only caution that any information pertaining to the results is now classified as undisclosable. Any attempt to disclose it without the permission from the school and MOE is deemed as invasion of privileged information.

Whatever so-called \"I heard\" from so and so will never been validated. If I am not wrong, I think that MOE will have the power to stop any parent from engaging the media to report on their children's high score.

Please do with a bit of wisdom, I do not know how MOE and the school will view it. If any names of the so-called top student, will it deemed as contradicting the current new policy. The MOE will reserve the rights to pursue the matters as they deem fit.

I caution myself not to be involved of sharing the information I know. This is because I do not know how MOE will view it. This is new policy and let us discuss it with the term, I heard, I was told by my son or daughter who happen to be friend that their classmate get how much and so on. Do not say \"so and so (with reference to actual name) of \"so and so\" school obtained 279, 285, 283. It might land you in trouble if MOE intend to pursue it, it might question the school, and slowly filter down to the actual person who release such information.

are you being overparanoid or kiasi? MOE official announcement is that they will stop publishing names of top scorers but it DID NOT prohibit schools and the public from doing so. Since when has it become \"undisclosable\" and MOE can take action against parent???

dimsum, my first reaction to tinwhoong's post was dis:

haiz, CNA was at NYPS recording d proceedings.
tinwhoong, how? illegal?
:rotflmao: What a cute chimpanzee! Yeah man, doing well in PSLE has now become a CRIME?! Illegal? Identity of scholars must not be revealed at all like those men who had sex with underage girls?? :?

What happens if My son failed to get to his 6 choices, will he go to his neighborhood school of the school that has vacancy near his score.Pls answer as I am trying to help him choose his 6 safest choices.

Thank you very much for your kind help for those who answered my question.

Don't even think about the possibility of not getting into his 6 choices. Use your choices wisely. Make sure there is at least 1 school if not 2 that he can definitely get into. Don't let the computer choose your 7th choice for you.

Dis is excellent advice fr jtoh.
Dis is not d time to gamble with ALL six choices to get into d school u wish to get into.

seems like Rulang teaching method preparing PSLE is effective.

last year produced Zhuang yuan.
this year produced Tan Hua 探花
- all within Top 3, consecutively.

maybe Rulang can share her secret recipe teaching method, with all other primary schools in SG.
Good thing must share around, right ?

When I posted on NYPS top scorer, I oredi knew his identity.
However I nvr reveal it here in a public forum, mainly out of respect for d boy's right to privacy.
But to suggest its a crime to be publicly recognized for his milestone achievement is puu..uuuuu
