Thanks for the info. May I know the purpose of staying back other than for CCA?Some info based on my briefing
1) NYPS - more competitive due to highest number of classes - 4 x 25-28pax/class. only one day staying back, for CCA, most of the work will be done during school hour, but end class at 1.30pm
2) ACS - only 2 classes, already 35 or so from exisiting boys, so only few vacancies left. wide CCA selection, inhouse facilities, principal seems good (his response to one question posted was impressive)
3) HPPS - seems very eager to capture the cream of GEP students
4) NHPS - focus on Chinese?
5) TNPS - small class size , 16-20pax/class, further split interest of Chinese culture into two sets. Bicap and ELLAP? At least 2-3days a week staying back
6) CH - Kids very confident, teachers needs probing, stay back 2days at least
7) SHPS - teachers are helpful during briefing , stay back 3days -
Believe for p4, there will be 3 long days…for hcl, cep n cca

Kids stay back mostly for projects, research and extra enrichment sessions or even Field trips. Mostly are due to projects though. I have who told me their kid don't even have time to talk to them, since they are at school till late (3-5pm), come back home, shower, meal, do homework and time to sleep.

Now that the posting is out, will we be informed about the book list, etc?
-
I understand there will be minimal textbooks used since the class materials are usually tailored. Still there should be the list

There were book lists given in the packages I picked up from the diff sch during the briefing. You prob have yours in there already

Only ACS and i think HPPS gives out the book list, others give out the transport list and school information?
-
NHPS has the book list in the info pack gotten from the booth on the briefing day.
-
Okie I was checking what I collected during briefing, ACS and NHPS has the book list
-
RGPS and Rosyth also gave out the booklists in their packages.
