      Haneyi:
Hello, I'm interested in going to CGS next year, however, one of my mother's main concerns is the Tablet PC ( eg. brand, cost, model etc. ). Other than the Tablet PC, will we be asked to purchase more gadgets / devices?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
      - -
If possible, I would like to know about the performance of the Tablet PC too.
      Thank you. ^^

      Hi Haneyi,

My girl is Sec 1 this year.

FYI, we bought the Samsung slate PC with the accessories (some is opitonal) early this year. We only placed the order one time and so far no other additional items are asked to purchaed after that.

There is IT support in Crescent if you have any problem in your PC.

      Hope this info. help.

        Hi all,

I've been trying to find out how CGS did at the 2011 GCE O Levels exams. I'm able to find the detailed results for many schools online, including Cedar, Chung Cheng etc., but not CGS.

Does anyone know and can share? Would appreciate that very much. Thanks.

p.s. I've tried calling the school to ask for the information but was told that they do not release it. Given that the results from so many other schools are available online, I've just worried that CGS has done badly in 2011 and is trying to hide that information. I've seen data that shows that CGS did well from 2002 to 2007 but not after. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks KiasuGrandMaster. Appreciate your quick and useful response.

I have seen the MOE press releases, but am specifically interested in CGS' results. A number of good schools (eg Chung Cheng, TKGS etc) actually posted details like the percentage of their students scoring distinctions by subject. Would you have that information and can share those with us?

          Many thanks in advance!

Nope. Very fair school. If you plot PSLE v/s O-level result nationwide, this probably will be among first few in term of 'Value add school'

You will probaly get thro' in normal S1 posting exercise, if not, opt for uniform group in Appeal form.

                      Best wishes
