About 19 students out of about 200 students obtained 250 and above.

The percentage who entered Express is about 80%, a marked improvement from last year. English was the star performing subject with 74% obtaining A&A*.

If there is any consolation, I feel the preparation towards PSLE this year was very good. My DD sat for PSLE this year, and my 1st DD sat for PSLE in 2009. Compared to 2009 the preparation this year was alot more systematic and less stressful.

        Hope this helps.

              Hi,

Wanted to check if the girls need to wear the ‘school socks’? When we were at the orientation, the person selling the shoes told us no need to wear the official school socks, said the white socks that he’s selling is what they can wear.

However, when we purchased the socks through pacific bookstore, the socks that were provided to us were the ones with the school name printed on it. So which is the correct one?

                Hi,

The girls can wear both CHIJ socks and normal plain white socks. I read it from the hand-outs they gave to us.

Hi I’m new here, my daughter is going P1 next year.im an old girl and I’m very excited and happy that she will be following in my footsteps.

I was wondering what brand of school shoes do other mummies get for their child?bata ones or Nike/new balance ones?

                      Thanks!

                        Hi Daisy Duck,

I am sure it’s going to be a very interesting journey for you and your daughter. Many old girls send their daughters back to IJ, and I am one of them. Met many of my old friends there and we reconnected after having lost contact for so long.

It’s such a great experience to have our girls go through what we went through. I could share with them my experiences and exchanged some notes.
I think this is the beauty when the school has a strong history.

Enjoy your daughter’s 6 years there.

Back to shoes, a shoe vendor sells school shoes during the hols when the school bookshop is opened. My girls like their shoes. It’s called Raymax. Not very expensive and comfortable they say.
You may want to try them too.
