Also has she decided on her CCA? Need advice on that ?

Thanks Maisy. She likes TKD but there isnt such a sport in Cedar. She wanted to try either softball or netball but hasnt decided. So what you do you recommend?

Your daughter's interest sounded v much like mine when i was younger... i did TKD too (outside school)

During my time, there was no softball but yes netball was good. I took up NCC as I enjoyed rugged activities ... we experimented with 3 different type of rifles (Air Rifle, T-bolt & M16) and i enjoyed the camaraderie-hood built over various camping trips - it made me a very independent & busy girl who has no time hence for all those BGR issues... my other ECA was swimming but...swimming was never Cedar's forte πŸ˜› So it wasn't that taxing... Besides, I was a Prefect (Prefects in Cedar has a lot to do & we observe every rule closely) ... Hence it was \"blessing in disguise that swimming was not that taxing\" ... With so many things on hand (not to forget my TKD & tuition outside of school) - where got time to think about boys....sigh.. hahahaha

Your daughter seem to know what she wants .. so good...let her choose for herself then πŸ˜„

Wow, you are also into TKD? Which club were you from?

Actually, my DD's 1st choice CCA is shooting/air rifle but this is not a popular school sports and I persuaded her to try others.

She wants to try alot of things and I am trying to moderate her by asking her what she needs and prioritise. Maybe I will ask her to check out NCC if she gets into Cedar. πŸ™

I know its tough having to wait for a reply and I may not be able to provide you valuable feedback. But you may want to find out more on your own about these schools via this URL http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/

You can find lots of things about any schools, including last year COP, CCAs, etc.

                Hope this helps.

From the subjects the schools offer to their Sec 3 students, I would recommend Damai as first choice. You can check the school website for more info on what is currently offered to its Sec 3 students.

You may want to consider Bedok North or Bedok Town. I stay near Bedok Town Sec and I can see that the discipline of the students have improved these 1-2 years. My nephew graduated from Bedok North last year. I like the principal and teachers as she is encouraging to the students, although she is strict but also caring. Although the 2 schools do not have impressive O level results (like 100% passing grade or many 6 pointers), but they do have a handful of students who did well in their O level.

Pingyi only have 2 express classes which I don't really like.

Not familiar with the rest, hence not much comments.

Can anyone out there pls give me some advise/info on which sch my girl shd put as her 1st choice.

                    She scored only 219 and is confused where to go......now she needs mummy 's advise and I know nothing much or 'anyone' frm these sch to help me;

Coral Sec Sch or Tampines Sec Sch or East Spring Sec Sch or Bedok View Sec Sch
I would advise you to put Tampines Sec as first choice. Go to their website and check out their Academic Acievements. Another idea, u may wan to consider Pasir Ris Crest - heard not bad

Hi can anyone give me some feedback on the schools for PSLE score of only 194. We are staying in Tampines.

                        3. Junyuang

                        5. Green view
                        6. Tampines
Base on my personal experiences for my 2 boys, put your child for NA at a good school. He may be placed in a better NA class than in the last class of an express stream. JMHO
