I used the Medela pump for both girls. Had i used others, i may have
been phobic to the machine totally. Medela electric is the best investment
during my b'feeding days, especially since this holy cow (my brother's
exact words!) can express like 300mls every 3hrs! :oops:

So did I :lol:

But still became phobic ... Can't stand the whirrrrr ..... sound of the pump urghhh ....

The one time I tried to increase milk supply by taking fenugreek pills. It worked. It worked so well that they became engorged :rotflmao:

Actually, in the end aft the trip, I realized that I had overestimated the amt of milk to express. There were so many unused pkts..

Nver mind, first child for me, learn thru trial and error ...

Heez..... im another cow here somehow regret of nt bringing my dd oversea during my breastfeeding days, tink its much more convenient den now. I also hate pumping... using medala elctric also... prefer direct latch on...hassle free.... wow buds... ur milk supply is gd.... can feed another \"baby\" ya.... :lol:

Can anyone share isn’t better to change thai baht in Singapore or in Bangkok/Chiangmai? Do they offer good rates there?

Usually Singapore money changer gives much better rate.

Pardon me asking this kind of questions as we all know that Bangkok is a shopping paradise but i wonder if they have sectors that have playgrounds that we can let my kid play while I take care of him and the mummy is going for her shopping.

I've arranged a massage place that allow my son to sleep either on the sofa or his pram during our next visit. Just want to make him feel more happy rather than making us happy only

For those who think their kids need a break in BKK do try FUNARIUM. this place is like our explorerkids at Pasir Ris. It is run by Mothercare and very near Carrefour.

We were there in Dec and it was really fun for kids. Besides, its new and spacious.

Thanks so much all for your valuable tips. Really very helpful as i am bringing my 10 months baby on her first overseas trip to bangkok this CNY. Though i'v been to Bangkok many times, i am sure this time will be very challenging travelling with an infant...I don't think there are any nursing room like sg in their malls rite?....Maybe just gotta bf in the toilet...

actually a good hotel to stay would be pathumwan princess. wonder y it was not mentioned here. we stayed at the hotel and basically just headed for the shopping malls nearby and the shopping mall MBK which is linked to the hotel. can access MBK, Siam Square, Underwater world at Siam Paragon etc. So whenever dd needs to nurse, we would just walk back to hotel room. comfortable, safe, and convenient! Its so convenient we hardly even have to walk in the hot sun. The restaurant in the hotel serves a good burger too -so nice place to drop by for supper. one of the tailors near the hotel entrance makes reasonable priced tailor-made shirts. dh made quite a few nice ones there. the cutting was stylish n flattering for the figure. but can't remember the name though.

dun fret - continue bfeeding cos its the best for baby and certainly much more convenient than lugging milk powder along
