hiiii
We use beestar online for English. It includes vocabulary and English Language Art, full of vivid pictures and interesting stories, very helpful for kids thinking. DD loves it!
Beestar also has science program. DD sometimes does the sample tests.
Plus, all of beestar’s worksheets are curriculum-based. This is great.

hi
I've managed to contact my eldest ex-phonics teacher who taught her 4 yrs ago.. She is currently giving home tuition and my son started his 1st 1 to 1 lesson with her yest and he enjoys it. At least now I am less worried as I know there's someone whom I trust will coach my son well : )
Hi Mummy_Bel,
May I know the fees for 1 to 1 phonics lesson? Is the teacher coming to home?
Thank you. -
I have this phonics teacher
Hazel Margaret
Gender:\tFemale\t\t
Race:\tEurasian\t
Age:\t64\tQualifications:\tDiploma
Occupation:\tPrivate Tutor\tLast School:\tTrinity College thro’ British Council
Experience
I was a full-time teacher in mainstream school (St Nicholas, Opera Estate, Marymount (HOD))for 30 years, then taught privately to K1, K2, P1 -P6, Sec 1 to Sec 4/ Sec5.
While in mainstream schools, I usually taught P5 & P6 English Language with A & A* results and seldom B; and preparing ‘O’ level students at S4E & S5N.
While in private teaching, I managed to take one ‘O’ level student from F9 to B3. Some others from B4 to A1. All students definitely improved under me even if their improvements were not so extreme.
I have personal and teaching experience in phonics training for the purpose of reading at Pre-school levels, helping them to improve in both reading and writing, and to be ready for P1.
My experiences have been with local individual Home tuition pupils as well as those in group tuition. Foreign adults have also improved under my training, with very swift progress.
My local training is for the local syllabus, and my Diploma from RSA was for the teaching of EL to foreigners.
My total teaching experience is 40 years in the classroom. -

I am still looking. Any good recommendation? My emaill is [email protected] and Mobile no is 98 zero zero nine 163.
I found a Montessori phonics teacher, but if 1-1 is quite expensive. I have not decided yet, I need 1-2 more student to form the group, to reduce the price. The palce is at Block 251, Yishun Ring road. Anyone keen in, pls contact me.
Thanks. -
