I punished my boy for some mischiefs he did. After awhile & bathing him in toilet he tried to get back at me:

Boy: I am very angry with you for punishing me

Me: If you said that again, I will punish you more as you still do not understand your mistakes.

Boy: Then I am angry with Mummy.

      Me: Blur…Why?

Boy: I am angry with Mummy for marrying a fierce man.

I dont know to be angry or happy with his comment.

Recently there’s a lozenges ad on TV with a ‘Bruce Lee’ doing the characteristic high pitch scream. Last night I saw the ad for the first time and muttered,"What, like Li Xiao Long arh…" and DS exclaimed, " Ha? Lee Hsien Loong?? "

LOL! Never knew their names sounded so similar until now…

            Nihauma:

My dd is eight months old and is at the age where she puts everything in her mouth. She especially likes paper and cardboards.

One evening, ds, 7, dd and I went to the park. Before we went out , I cooked dd's porridge on the slow cooker. When we got home I checked the mail box and found a lot of brochures. I commented: wa, so many brochures!
Upon returning home, I checked the porridge and found it was not ready. I commented: aiya, porridge is not ready!
Ds said to dd: mei mei, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is your porridge is not ready. The good news is you can eat all these papers. :faint:

Aiyoh! Same! :slapshead: My 7mth old dragon_boi's favourite diet is also paper products! :hi5:

            🤷

            Cardboard books = Raw
            Papers = Medium rare
            Tissue = Well done

Haha...nowadays papers taste better maybe? U try la...

At the rice stall…my son ordered his rice on his own for the first time.

              Man: eat what?
              Son: rice
              Man: eat or tapao?
              Son: eat here.
Man: what dishes do you want?
              Son: potato
              Man: what else?
              Son: tofu
              Man: what else?
              Son: egg

Man scooped egg. Egg had some chili sauce on it

              Son: i dont want chili.

Man very carefully scooped away the portion with chili.

              Man: what else?
Son: put curry gravy on rice.

Man with question mark look: you said u dont eat chili but u want curry? Curry or black gravy?
              Son: curry
              Man: u very naughty ah!

The look on his face when my son said curry was priceless. I was busy laughing so I didnt explain to him that mmy son can only take a bit spicy and his curry not very spicy.

went to Legoland and ended up leaving very late after dinner.

On our drive back home, 4 yr old son asked:

Son: Are we still in Malaysia?
                      Me : Yes.
Son: Where are we going now?
Me: We are going back home.
Son: It is late, we cannot go home.
Me: Why?? You don't want to go home?
Son: No, it is late already so we have to go back to hotel.
                      Me: ??!

                      can't have a day trip meh? 😉
