Not sure whether you refer to Presbyterian High. I think it is a good school. I can understand what you mean. Most of us tend to blame this & blame that when things don't turn out as expected. I think it is human nature.I just want to say that the average PH T-score has been around 226-228 for the last few years, not fantastic like the MGSs & NYs but still well above the national average. So I don't get the [implied] allegation that the sch only focuses on the top classes.
It's always tempting to blame-this, blame-that when things don't go well, especially after we announced to all and sundry the kind of fortune we spent on tuition. -
She was not obligated to share her son’s score, just as much as she wasn’t to share the tuition costs.
She shared only because she treated the ks parents as friends who have journeyed with her thro psle.
Let’s not use what she has shared in a heartfelt manner against her. We are all in this together to encourage one another. -

in this context, think PH = Pei Hwa primary.FQW:

Encourage each other is ok. But not the relentless and unfair bashing of teachers who are voiceless, and therefore defenseless in this forum.

if i am not wrong (do correct me if i'm wrong), \"mummy so kiaus\" son's primary school is ... Nan Chiau - one of the hottest, most popular schools in Seng Kang, very competitive to get in during P1 registration time due each year.
Indeed, if I guess the school correctly!
just like Nanyang - she is also a SAP school, and also begin with the same name \"Nan\". -
phtthp:
Yes. My boy is from Nan Chiau Pri but it is not a SAP school. Nan Chiau High is a SAP school.

Strongly Agree. All of us have pull through this tough year together. All of us are caring mummies who are here to share & encourage each others. Regardless of our kids' PSLE results, we have already done our best to guide our kids. Wishing all mummies & their kids have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! She was not obligated to share her son's score, just as much as she wasn't to share the tuition costs.

She's entitled to her opinion. And she's probably in a better position than many of us to comment on the school.

blur me ! :?
Yes. My boy is from Nan Chiau Pri but it is not a SAP school. Nan Chiau High is a SAP school.
i often associate the 4 \"Nan\" schools as SAP schools.
(Nan Chiau, Nanyang, Nan Hua, Tao Nan)
can clarify:-
are Nan Hua, Pei Hwa SAP school ?
do they start Higher Chinese from ... Primary 1 ?
does P1 in Nan Chiau learn normal Chinese or Higher Chinese ?
why Nan Chiau High Secondary is SAP, whereas primary isn't ?
