My elder boy has an adult tooth growing behind a non-shaky milk tooth at the lower jaw.

Can someone recommend a dentist skilled in exracting non-shaky milk tooth?

We also need to take an x-ray of the upper jaw again. The previous one we took at a Q&M showed no adult tooth at the upper jaw to match the lower jaw adult tooth.

We might also need recommendation for braces.

          Many thanks in advance.

            hi ecyh75

Winth had posted earlier that the doctor she went to was Dr Hinly Lau of LQ Dental at Novena Medical Centre (Square 2).

I am gonna get DS to pay Dr Lau a visit soon. Luckily I saw winth's post from your post. Also thought I should wait till DS was older to correct his jaw issue but after reading this, better do it asap to avoid surgery. Blessing in disguise that you included winth's quote in your post.

            Thanks!
Hi, pls share the visit to Dr Lau.

My elder boy was recommended to remove the milk teeth and the erupting adult teeth - not enough space at the lower jaw. Upper jaw has the same problem. Total number of teeth to remove = 4.

Estimated charges is $4k to $6k for package (excludes surgery to remove the 4 tooth) :faint:

I am suffering with some of the problems related with my teeth. I came across many of the named dentists in my locality, but not find the permanent solution yet. I came across this Cancun dentist through one of the websites and would like to take the treatment from this. Before that, I would like to know about the procedure for taking the appointment, fee and about the branches of yours if exists in our location of Anchorage. Please produce some attachment links regarding my request.

My dds go to this dentist, Dr Poon at Twin Dental Clinic at Ngee Ann City. So far, quite happy with her service. She charges about $4,500 - $4,800, but the rates were based on one year plus ago. It includes the use of braces, x-rays and retainers. Can't recall if her fee includes extraction of teeth.

Actually, before I chose her, I got 3 quotes and Dr Poon's was the most reasonable. She was also recommended by another dental surgeon (not dealing in orthodontics) so that's why we decided to go with Dr Poon.

Both dds find her gentle. My elder girl can even fall asleep in the dentist chair  shows how \"gentle\" the dentist is. haha šŸ˜‚

my nephew's dentist said must extract.

my son's dentist said no need.
but when the tooth is shaky, we just encourage the kid to shake it.
that is when it is very shaky.
What I did last time was to ask my kids to shake it a little daily until it became very shaky! :rotflmao:

Brought my 4 yr old nephew to NDC today. He has an inflamed tooth which the dentist said have to extract out. Another 2 molars need root treatment. Whatever treatment he goes thru, he has to been under GA due to his age plus he is terrified of dentist ( he has never visited dentist before and these 3 days we have brought him to HDB, pte dentist and NDC).

The NDC dentist said the 2 molars can be extracted too but then he has only 20 teeth so it may cause eating problems. The pte dentist do not recommend tooth extraction coz she said it will cause movement when new teeth grows. They said they will decide whether to do filling or root canal in the operating room.
We are confused. We are not comfy with him undergoing GA but at the same time, he is experiencing some pain now so something needs to be done. Any advise?
