I really like the culotte - looks like a pleated skirt. My daughter likes it too. Hence, she'll be wearing that with the PE Tee on Day 1. Naturally, I'll take the pain of the button away by fixing a hook.

Hi, everyone. My DD will be joining RGS next year. We are staying at Bedok and would like to look for buddies who are willing to share a cab to school every morning. We were thinking of getting a cab driver who could pick 3 to 4 girls at a fixed fee per month. It may cost a little more than school bus, but we donβt have to pay during school holidays and most importantly, our DD can wake up later in the morning.

Must you tug in the PE shirt or just let it out for relax look?

You've got to tuck in all non-PE shirts thoughosim:

No need to tuck in PE.
Like House shirt, Orientation shirt, etc.
Also when you're wearing your pinafore remember to fold your sleeves up!
But yes, on the first week, at least for my year, I remember that nobody was booked for wearing the wrong things the wrong way or anything. In fact, we'd a 1-week grace period where we weren't even booked for being late to school
But of course, do try to be on time - and do take note that the first two days always has this horrendous jam so do go a little earlier!
And some other little (unrelated, completely random) happenings that comes to my mind -
In some of the D and E block toilets, the cubicles have both a normal shower head and a toilet. And there are two buttons, one for each. I guessed the wrong one and ended up getting all wet! And I wasn't the only Year 1 who made this mistake! But anyway just fyi, if I remember correctly the correct button for flushing the toilet is the lower one
And I also remember the ridiculously hard to button culottes button. I secretly left it unbuttoned the first few times, and you can't tell, because the button is covered by the shirt. I think I only managed to button it a month or two into the school year. (Embarrassing! But perhaps I wasn't alone in this \"little secret\".)
At least I didn't go to the wrong class in Year 1. (In P4 when I went to my new GEP school, the very very blur me went to the wrong class!) -
Are the art materials needed for school? The booklist says it's compulsory :?

Most of them aren't needed, especially if you already have a similar thing. Plus if you need any of those materials specifically, you can always get them from the bookshop during term time
