Hi, I would like to know whether there will be a lot of downloading of information or installing on the Mac that requires a larger database? If so, would the Pro be more suitable? Furthermore, is it frequently that the gals will be using CD to install any program or work?

      Thank you!
The Microsoft Office will come in a CD, so you need a CD drive. As for the flash memory, 128GB will be sufficient for school, it depends on whether the user needs more space for personal use (e.g music, movies, apps etc.)

You will be briefed, there are many categories of bookings. Eg, for truancy, 2 bookings is a SOM, so it varies.

Hi, may I know does joining uniform groups earn more points? Also do the students need to go back to school on Saturdays for their CCA esp the UG? TIA

:thankyou: Still thinking whether to get a Mac Pro or Air for gal.[/quote]Hello, I'm not a RGS student but would like to share.

I think Air is more suitable as it as light and slim, easy to carry around. It is also much cheaper than the Pros with Retina Display. The storage space in an Air should be enough - you'll be able to keep a lot of files in there. My 2006 Macbook ( Yea, it's very old but works fine πŸ˜‚ ) is my main computer and it still has quite a lot of GBs left even though I've been using it for a long time.

                  Hope this helps.
                  Thank you.

                  * However, If your daughter likes to do video editing ( using FCP / Premiere etc. ), then Pro will probably be a better choice as the rendering speed will be a lot faster. Also, unless you plan on running Bootcamp / installing a virtual machine inside the Mac, you do not need too much space. ^^ By the way, I think the Air looks neater and cooler than the Pro. πŸ†’

Yes joining uniform groups will earn you more CCA points. And it depends on what CCA you're joining. If you're joining Sports or Performing Arts, then yeah you probably have to, especially if it's during competition season or there's an upcoming performance/SYF. UG not that much I guess, unless there are certain events and stuff. Club & Society, no probably not, I think.
