My boy has been posted to Kuo Chuan Presbyterian. Any feedback on this school? The school has a tired look from the outside. I am not sure if the teachers are dedicated. Pls advise.

She is happy with it when we went for the registration and looks forward to starting school.

Is it? Which class is she posted? Mine is 1 Love. How’s the school teachers in the school?

My child is in Faith. I like the naming convention of the classes - Faith / Hope / Grace / Peace , etc. . So nice.


Anyway, she seems to be enjoying school so far (3 days only, though). 3 days' bonding camp this week and I think lesson proper will start next week.

So far so good. Couldn't ask for more.

KCPSS used to be up there amongst the better schools. Their golden period was the late 90s- early 2000s. But for the past few years this school performances has been going downhill. Not many CCAs choices there compared to other secondary schools and mostly biased towards music / performing arts. The problem I think is because they have a high number of young and raw inexperienced teachers posted to them.

I happened to attend their meet-the-parents session today as my niece was posted to this school. It came as a shock to see and hear the senior teachers speaking. Out of the 4 speakers who took to the stage and microphone.... 3 of them umm and ahh their speeches that it was a torture hearing them speak. I am really concerned for the students if these were the teachers' standards. I hope that tonight was a one-off bad day of nervousness.... though they shouldn't be as educators.
