Hi, can any senior advice me on the iPad? May I know what is the purpose of using the iPad and mainly on which subject? Is it the iPad only use for year 1 and 2 only? Is 16gb sufficient? Thank you.

If I don't remember wrongly, you mentioned in one of your post that Li Ning's 13 yo son is in RV.

I am curious about your view on this issue.

Personally, I don't see this as a negative. Li Ning, as an accomplished billionaire can well afford $100k annual school fees for his son in any good world class private schools. If he has really chosen RV, I think is a testimony for the school's excellence rather than a negative.

The iPad is currently included in the for years 1-3. I am using a 16gb now with about 50 apps including school ones, it should be enough. The purpose of the iPad is to incorporate the use of apps to make teaching easier I guess. The subject it is used for is mainly everything, depending on how the teacher chooses to teach. However most lessons may need the iPad .

I am only against the school’s overly commercialization of the brand; I am surprised that it is sanctioned by MOE. As to the son who is in the school is not the context of the issue.

Of course it is beneficial for the school to have strong and dedicated Alumni; it is through its Alumni that ultimately make a school great!
