Cedar Girls Secondary School

Hello parents, school is starting in a week time.I guess is time to start letting your dd learn to wear double layers (2 shirts) at home so that they can adapt to the heat when school starts. As heard from my dd,most students will start wearing their uniform with a shirt (mostly pe attire) inside in secondary school. My dd is starting this practice tomorrow so wonder if any parents will agree and follow my saying.

I think the Pe t shirt can be kept in the school bag and wear them on when Pe comes. The classroom is not air conditioned and thus it will be very hot and especially wear it throughout the day. Your thoughts?

Oh is better to wear a t shirt inside school uniform because this can prevent sweat stain on uniform. The stain is hard to wash away and is not nice when people see the stain on the uniform.

Hi Individualist, was at the orientation this morning. Looks very organised which was run by students. I happened to overheard... Overall 7 classes, of which 4 classes 'O' level, 3 classes of IP. Is that correct?
Hi! I asked my prefect friend and she said that there are 10 classes ( C,H,A,M,P,I,O,N,S,Z) with 4 or 5 ip classes

Lower sec usually has 2 pe classes + 1 jogging session in a week. It is not encouraged to wear your pe attire underneath (I heard itβs against the rules) and it really gets quite hot because you have to wear a tie too! Try to make an effort to change our of your pe attire after all your pe classes, or if pe is in the morning, wear the attire straight to school. If pe is in the afternoon, change during lunch/recess. You donβt necessarily have to change in the toilet. After a while, everyone is used to each other and change in class instead. Some of my classmates change under the table etc.

Hi all,
My daughter just brought home the school uniform yesterday, after the orientation. Do you all find the material used, especially for the skirt, very thin. I just have the feeling it will tear after a few washes. Is this the normal material used, or is it because of dragon year, so last minute, cannot produce too many, so use poorer quality cloth?
BTW, my daughter also enjoyed the orientation very much. Thank you, seniors, you are all awesome! -

Thank you, Breeze.
Was thinking of buying a few more pieces to keep on hand, in case they tear and leave us in the lurch. So now, no need to buy more. Thanks. -

Wearing the tie is already very stifling on a hot day. The girls are allowed to wear pe to school and change thereafter. After awhile, they learn to change in the classroom. i don't see the girls wearing double .....
