      Choco05:

Bishan doesn't have Japanese class? But my new class is on Friday, and also at Bishan...

Actually, no. Most of the time, my class is half dead. The 3 hours seem to past super slowly, partly because we were all nearly dead from the lessons in the morning. But still, there are times when it was enjoyable. Especially when you come across random Japanese words, it feels good to say \"Hey i understand this\" etc.
No Japanese class on Friday, for Sec 1 in 2013, at Bishan Campus. That was what I was told and hence, did not apply for a transfer.

Did any other parent or student receive different information ?

In fact, I applied for a change of language so that she can study in the Bishan campus, which is just a 10min bus ride from home.

I admire your perseverance in continuing with the lessons. There is light at the end of the tunnel. šŸ˜„ On hindsight, many of us adults wish that we had not given up on learning a foreign language during our younger days.

We were quite surprised & glad that our DD's German class (Bishan) would be all from RGS. The class size is about 30. šŸ•ŗ šŸ•ŗ

            Choco05:

Your DD won't be in the same class as all those who reported and were in front of you, you know?

My Jap class for 2 years has been an all girls class for some reason. I think RGS schedule does not meet with other schools so we have lessons on different days...

BGR issues cannot be avoided simply because you are in a single sex school. Many still have boyfriends/girlfriends anyway.

True, she prob won't be in the same class. Somehow, it just never crossed my mind that the 3rd language would be co-ed.

We registered at the Bishan campus but will have to attend at Newton's as Bishan does not have Japanese classes on Fridays.

Choco05, are you enjoying your Japanese lessons ? I know I read earlier that you will be continuing with it, do you look forward to each lesson ? Does the 3 hours fly or excruciating after 1.5 hours ?

As far as I know, all are from the same school in third language classes. Because they are majority.

Some cases may be the child score 250 above and choose a sec sch near the house. Then he or she will have to make different arrangement.

                    Haven't seen them.

Canteen and toilets(yes, to your relief šŸ†’ )are undergoing upgrading when i went back 2 days ago. Mostly done, except a little more painting. The new toilets are definitely much cleaner, so i hope it stays that way. Canteen was repainted and every stall changed, plus i think there are new lockers as well.

Y1 orientation camp is on Jan 10 and 11.

                        Badge initiation on Jan 4.

Different from last year. I think it is better that the camp delayed a bit. Why Y3 OBS camp is so rush? Why not in March or at least second/ third wk of Jan?
