For year 2013 Sec 1, we are supposed to submit 6 passport size photo in Sch uniform. Anyone knows the deadline to submit it? I have not managed to get the sch badge yet so not sure if I should take the pics without the Sch badge. Hoping to get the badge on first day of Sch.

My take is that it doesn't matter whether the badge is on or not becos passport sized photos will only capture till the top part of the school tie. From my elder son's experience, it is alright to hand in the photos after the first week.

Have another query regarding the ezlink. DS will be taking public transport, and I'm planning to get the concession pass. But how should I go about it cos he is still holding the Pri Sch ezlink. Will ACSI be conducting an exercise to change for the students?
So meanwhile can he continue to use his ezlink? It's been soooo many years, can't remember how it work back then :oops:

New secondary/pre-u student ezlink card will be issued to the yr1s within the first few weeks of school. Meanwhile, your son can continue to use the pri sch ezlink card.

The tie and badge are among the outstanding items that will be given out to our boys tomorrow, right? Unless you have bought an extra one at the co-op..

The tie probably not , but that was 3 years ago when my ds was sec 1 , but if you lose it , you can always get another one at the co-op

Hi hi, my understanding for this yr is that the boys will go to school in white shirt n berms. The class teacher will issue tie n badge. Check out the letter from the year director which comes together with the orientation file.

Since the school hasn't issue yet, my initial guess was that Sec 1 boys don't have to wear on the first day; but a fellow mummy SMS to say must wear! :slapshead:

Is Newton nearer/ more convenient compared to Bishan from school?

Going by MRT, Bishan is more direct on the Circle Line. However, the walk seems farther.
