yes..3D2N
Strangely, I don't feel so worried about the camp. Perhaps it's because DS has attended quite a few camps in primary school. He packed his bag himself.sunj1252:
Another 2 hours to the end of the first day of secondary school for year ones. Hope it went well for all of them.
DS will take public transport home, by himself, for the first time. Starting to feel anxious.... :nailbite:
The S1 boyes will have school camp starting tomorrow, am I right?

Don't think DS packed a small bag. Probably don't need it since not in list. If need then I think the boys will think of something... Like using a plastic bag. Not so presentable but serves the purpose.Orientation Camp 2013
Can someone advise if for orientation camp tmr, do they need to bring a small bag when moving around during the camp (to carry water bottle, poncho etc) ? They are advised to just bring one haversack/duffel bag for everything..

Yes, it is accessible to all Rafflesians.. On rainy days, it is better for the boys to alight at Marymount Station (instead of Bishan Station) as there is sheltered walkway all the way from the station to the school compound.. But they have to walk past the JC Section to go to the Sec Sch Section.. May take a little longer but better than getting wet on rainy days..

Is it thru tapping their ezlink card? If so , is the activationof their ez link card done automatically right from first day of school or the students have to go somewhere activite it? My boy was told they have to wait for the jc students tap for them today.Kiasucy:

Just dun wear the badge to sch but put in on for the award ceremony.
Actually, your son should not wear the badge to the investiture ceremony because receiving the badge is part of the ceremony.syshi:
May be u can call up ri to ask abt how you can go abt buying the sch badge before the investiture.
Hi Herbie,
Got the badge and tie (a bit kiasu) through the school bookshop, before knowing during reporting that the boys not supposed to wear the badge and tie before the investiture... wonder how 'tight' the requirement like... that's why asking fellow KSr what's the practice like in previous years... -

Oh..my bad then. Sorry.
it's ok... with a lot of Edusave Award presentation conducted in early year, can't really wait till Investiture. Else will end up with all white uniform without any identity for the boys... People will wonder which schools are these boys from.... :?
