From the MOE website:Hi
I bought a condo that will only TOP in 2015 and I am applying my kid to the school that is less than 1 km under this new address. Can I apply using this new address for 2013 registration for 2014 P1.
Proof of Purchase of Yet-to-be Completed Property
An original Sales and Purchase document is required if the address of a yet-to-be completed private property is used for registration. The date of commitment by the developer in the Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.) has to be within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One. In the case of a yet-to-be completed HDB flat, the Agreement for Lease is required.
Parents must move into the new property within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One. -

How can this be done? By presenting the purchase agreement of the property (assuming still u/c)? -

Hi all, my daughter is due for P1 registration for 2014.
I want to register her in a school under P2B, but we are within 1-2Km. In case the school is too hot and we have no chance in P2B.
Can I use another address to register in P2C for 2nd school? I have another house for renting right now which 2nd school is within 1KM. If the balloting is sucessful, we will move to the house near the school.
Is it workable? -

How are you going to change the address in your NRIC within such a short time?Hi all, my daughter is due for P1 registration for 2014.

Change IC Address is not a problem, i think. Last time when I moved house, it took only me 10min to change address in the neighbourhood police office.

changing to an address that one is not staying is a statutory offence.

It's not the time spent changing the address in your NRIC at the Neighbourhood Police Post I was referring to.
How are you going to convince anyone that you stay in the second address when it has been rented out? You need documentary evidence to prove that you stay there and like what tankee said, changing address to a place where you do not stay in a statutory offence.
