I just called Master Leong, he said recently he won’t be at Yishun. And the mole cream cost $ 400+ a btl, not advisable to buy for own use. Better to let him check for location of the mole, cos some moles are gd ones, and he can apply as accordingly those bad moles.

I recall earlier post said $20 per mole :?

Wonder if cheaper to just go to dermatologist to remove it. Could be useful to see Master Leong to check if mole is good or bad though.

I am arranging for removal of 1 fleshy mole for my dd this year. I prefer to go to a doctor, anyone can recommend? Is it better to go to dermatologist or those cosmetic doctor?

I went to NUH to remove a mole near my eye. It was done by an eye doc as a day surgery.

Hi, I removed DD's mole last year - it was on her face, slightly above her upper lip. I took her to a polyclinic to get a referral letter for national skin centre (subsidized fee), saw the doctor and then it was arranged for her to get the mole removed. On day of surgery, very fast, only took 1/2 day. FYI. Cheers !

The doctor applied anaesthetic on the mole area and just cut it off. There was a small wound and the doc said it may take 6 mths to a yr for the scar to go away completely. I think for DD's case, it healed pretty fast...I also applied bio-oil on her scar after the wound closed completely.

Talk to the doctor and ask questions before you agree to the surgery, know all the risks etc. But if it is just a mole, I think no need to worry too much
