It's too bad then, I guess... šŸ˜• Oh well, I think I'll stay put in NUSHS for the next two years and see how it goes! After all, there is still the DSA Exercise for the Y3 Intake should their curriculum not suit me! šŸ˜›

Nonetheless, good luck to all Rafflesians for their coming school year! šŸ™‚
You can always call RGS and ask if it's possible. Or stay on in NUSH and see how you feel about it after two years.

From inet, I was very surprise to see that there is zero DSA for performance arts this year. There were over 40 DSA just for sports and so that means around 180 DSA academics. Is this the norm or is there a shift in strategy for RGS?

The DSA academic includes the GEP girls. Most of the GEP girls who applied DSA to RGS secured an offer.

Hi, I’m trying to decide which CCA trials i should go for. I’d like to know my chance of getting into:

            - Handbells Ensemble
Learnt how to play handbells in music class in primary school, and i’m grade 7 in piano
            - Track and Field
Not in school team and never participated in inter-school competitions before, though i was selected to participate in sports day (600m and 100m)
            - Robotics
            No prior experience
            - Gymnastics (Trampoline)
Used to do gymnastics and participated in several competitions before, but quit in P3

Exactly. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best at NUSH.:xedfingers:

I think the best way to know how good your chance is is to see how much you can meet the criteria mentioned for each CCA, in the document on CCA selection trials, posted on the school website.

Can appeal, it is ok. They are quite accomodating. Many people dont know why just give up things last minute.

You should just try for all of them if time allows. Most handbells people have no prior experience, and robotics do not require any prior experience too... .-. As for track and gym you can just go ahead and try since you have some experience in it haha.
