Yes, we don't call out each other full name for fear that the spirits can hear it and disturb us :!:
by also calling full name?!
Is that why people have nicknames in the past like \"doggy boy\", \"milk pig\" etc to \"fool\" the spirits? -
Yeah yeah.
To pull the wool over the spirits’ eyes …kekeke -

Oh, OK. Thanks... :!:  :scared: :nailbite: :faint:Muffins:
P.S. Why don't people call out other people's full names at night? If there is a story, please care to tell, as I would like to hear it... TIA.

My mum told me that it is becos those wandering spirits will get to know your name and will start to disturb u or play tricks on you....like hearing ppl calling you but when you turn around these no one there.....the act of mischief spirits.
I forbid my hubby from calling my sons name when we are out at night ('out' as in under the sky without shelter...if at home, in shopping mall...etc, its okay), we will only call them boy, gor gor, di di, baby...etc. -

In the army, your platoon mates call you by surname.

suddenly i felt that the surrounding was so errie and spooky…
quickly off the computer and jumped onto my bed and covered with blanket.
a sudden chill went down my spine…

Why do you have to ring the bell and flush the water down the toilet bowl?
I will always ring the bell before I enter the room, flush the water down the toilet bowl, and will always leave the toilet light on when I sleep at night. -

hmmm... never knew about this last room thing. That reminds me of a recent business trip to Tokyo and when I checked into the hotel, I was upgraded to a suite (not sure lucky or unlucky). But boy was the room far away from the main wing and it was also the last room :shock:Yes, no last room. The last room is usually creepy... :!:
I kind of felt uncomfortable when I went into the room. Kept telling myself that it must be due to the suite being too big for comfort (and also too many rooms). Before going to sleep that night, again felt uncomfortable...
Anyway, don't have to hold your breath here. Fortunately, nothing happened during my one-night stay there :xedfingers:.
Never have the habit of asking about the location of my room, maybe should do so next time? :? -

So far I have quite a number of last room, thankfully nothing happen. The only things that I really dread is staying in a club room or a suite while on business trip. The room is just too huge, too creepy no matter how tastefully it has been decorated. I tend to close all the doors leading towards the walkin wardrobe, the toilet, the living room. I will on all the lights and usually did not sleep well. There's once, in NZ, the tv in the room on by itself. I just simply told myself that someone must have put a timer to the tv.
