The blogs -- first one sounds good :rahrah: , second one sounds v \"sian\" :gloomy: . Guess it all depends on the child -- different ideas of what is fun.
DS didnt even bring handphone, saying \"not allowed\"!
Was hoping got coin-phone there he could use, but maybe too busy or tired, or enjoying himself so much that forget to call.
Weather so hot yesterday- think he will come back burnt (chao-tar)

Tdy weather also hot & scorching, hopefully no sun burnt, looking fwd to the camp fire on Friday. My ds opt for ncc & npcc under cca, must see which cca they will allocate him to

Oh no!! Heavily rain with thunderstorm at Orchard area now! Hopefully all kids in the camp will not be caught in the rain. :xedfingers:

About Fri nite’s campfire, do parents go? I mean, it says "parents cordially invited" but do they really want us there? Hmm must ask DS when he come back.
Also, do we eat dinner before going? (a bit early though) Or there will be food?

My 2 nephews graduated from ZHSS. My sil attended her 1st child campfire 9 yrs ago. She said no dnr provided and she can't remember whether is there any light snack provided or not. She didn't attend the campfire for her 2nd child (6 yrs ago) so dunno is there any changes on food arrangement. So we will be going for early dnr before the campfire.

About the CCA selection, DS mentioned that majority of boys chose NCC followed by NPCC. Is there a maximum no. of boys they will take into each UG? (back in our days, we could join whatever UG we wanted!) If so, does that mean most won’t get what they choose?
