What to you pack for kids' recess/lunch in school?

Even when turn bad also can't tell coz yogurt a bit sour.

Yes i think the thawing does affects the texture a bit, but not significantly. And some brands seem less susceptible. I experimented to get one that everyone approves of.
I find that the frozen strawberries, grapes etc (i cut them up first) act like little ice cubes and keep the yogurt cool enough in the thermal bag. -

As for yoghurt, it is not thawed int he 1st place. Anyway, my home have this habit of freezing our yoghurt and then scrapping it off the tub...and eat it like shaved ice!

Hi. Can we share what we cook for our children to bring to school for lunch?
I am a lousy cook http://www.sherv.net/emoticons.html so I thought of getting some ideas here :idea:
We can share other tips too e.g. container, etc.

In the beginning of the year, I will cook at home n bring the lunch to school so that ah boy can eat it while hot at the nearby hawker centre.
I do not prepare his lunch when he has afternoon lessons. He paiseh to bring inside the sch. Sch also does not encourage this practice, prefers the pupils to buy from the canteen, no matter how long the q is, how lousy the food is, how unreasonably priced the food is given the tiny portion
I have a few thermos containers - 1 for soup, 1 for carbo, 1 multi-tiered for veg, meat n egg
Simple dishes:
1. macaroni
2. porridge
3. fried noodles
4. fried rice
5. stir fry veg
6. steam or stir fry pork slices
7. steam or pan fry egg or softboiled eggs -
Would those who pack in thermal containers show some examples of the containers? And how hot does the food stay? I recall it should stay above 60C to be safe. Also, how much does it weigh?
I used to pack lunches for my kids daily when we lived overseas and school didn’t provide lunches. But they had a fridge and microwave in school so I didn’t need to think about keeping food hot/cold. Thanks! -
