I once talked to a mid-age parent about this and all he said was 'you are too young to understand'.

Solli. I am still young at heart. :imanangel:

Some people hint I am a sucker.

It's a master stroke by the powers that be. Notice how people are talking more about this case than about the upcoming by-election? šŸ™‚

What does \"tainted by an objectively corrupt element\" mean? Is it like awarding a tender for a contract involving public property to yourself? :scratchhead:

me seriously doubt d prosecution was joking with d gallery when he said dis to mean 'dat d accused They Tsoon (want to be) Hung has tainted his object of desire with his corrupt element when he entered into d transaction.'

Its lawyer's speak. d prosecution is just trying to establish there is a corrupt element in d transaction(s) to prove his case.

He is a foreign talent, an ex / former district judge.
He may know every corner of the law so well, that he may be able to wriggle his way out. He doesn't want the defence lawyer to defend him now.

May not be so, in this case....
