I doubt we'll know conclusively until (or if) it comes out in the trial.

think the delta change /jump of grade cannot be too much, else people may ... suspect.

so this Teh guy can only gave her B, instead of A.

at such a young age she's already trading (corrupt) herself in exchange for benefit, can't imagine when she grow older in seniority as a lawyer, what else she'll do ? Thought law profession circle supposed to have ethnics code of conduct.
He gave her a B grade for the subject he is teaching.
Lawyers have code of ethics, but there may be black sheep.
What I am wondering is, how did this case became known??? DK won't be so stupid to reveal upgrade of her grade right?
Such an intelligent girl...but IQ used for wrong reason. What a pity.

I read somewhere that DK blurted out the immoral act herself to her friends and one of them decided to whistle-blow.

Whether her grade got upgraded does not really matter or if any corruption/bribery actually happened. Maybe this could be just an affair gone wrong, perhaps similar to Cecilia and Gay's case. What did happen was a sexual affair between a teacher and his student. Both parties are in serious breach of code of educational conduct and deserve to receive serious repercussions for their actions.

refer Quote from Nan He Wan Bao:-

try to translate into English :-
(for those who don't understand Mandarin)

NUS Associate Professor of Law -
was accused of altering the girl’s score from the original D, E or just passing into B. The female student involved is Ko Wen Hui (23 years old)

The trial continued into its second day, concerning the allegation of NUS Law School Associate professor Teh from the respect line (41 years old).

Teh today in court asked the judge for some file documents from NUS.
He had made this request earlier before in High Court, but his request was dismissed in September last year, by the High Court Judge.

Today it was revealed that he is alleged in Wenhui's study of Stock / Equity and Trust course subject - she had the D or E, or just passing scores altered to B.

Non-NUS law graduates must be laughing their heads off that this is even allegedly possible. Guess the other examiners (if any) must be sleeping. :rotflmao: Or since 17th in the cohort is D/E or borderline pass, 30th and below in the cohort must be Fail. :rotflmao:

And Equity and Trusts have nothing to do with stocks and shares. What's wrong with our reporters? :siao:

How does NUS Faculty of Law review the examination paper(s) done for each subject ?
are there any panel of co-lecturer(s) (if any) to cross examine, review the paper done or question the grade decided for candidate(s) ?

any student(s) or teaching staff from Law faculty wish to comment ?
