Thank you for explaining ... looks like primary school can be quite expensive. Things have changed since our time ...
Some CCAs hire external coaches, hence the need to charge. But I agree with you - to avoid misunderstanding - it would have been better any fees payable be shared upfront. Mabbe you can feedback to the OIC and see what he says. -

I wonder why they don't start reno during the holidays in 2014?
[/quote]Did you try driving past at night? :yikes:

We signed up for non-competitive table tennis CCA. My boy did not mention a letter requesting payment.
Hi, we just received a letter from the school asking for payment of $220 for table-tennis CCA. We find it very surprising that there is a need to pay for CCA. There was no earlier information on such a practise. Is CCA an optional part of school curriculum?Jennifer:
The CCA round 1 registration result is out. Please go to the school website for a clearer name list for checking.

The holding site was a post primary school institution.Did you try driving past at night? :yikes:

I used to walk past it. Decent looking, huge compound with ample basketball courts, but limited car park lots.
I remember the ex-Canadian site underwent some spring cleaning before NYPS settled in.
Maybe the Toh Tuck holding site is larger and needs more time to refreshen up?
MOE needs to obtain x number of tenders before can start work, else kena question left n right by the public as public funds are being used :rotflmao: -

If want quality, they have to get professional help. if use teacher to teach, they will not be able to provide the best quality or compete with other schools in competitions. Sometimes, they even engage professional to teach the art lesson like my son's class last year....and i don't remember paying extra for the art lesson.
