What will happen to the Mee Rebus stall?
Heard from my friend that they are shifting to Bishan Junction 8 food court - next to Pepper Lunch stall (if I remember correctly)
As for the steamboat , they are shifting to novena - one of the shophouses opposite Novena Church
Went J8. Can't find lay? -
Personally feel too overpriced and the food so so. Really disappointed about the food selection and price. If given a choice, would prefer the old stalls.
I bought a pau for my gal once, the size is even smaller than her palm and its $1.50 or $1.80 per piece !!!
Suntec will also have a new food court and I reckon it will be the same fate as PP. (high priced food)
These days, new food court - new higher price. -
FR is always overpriced. Now I always associate Expensive with this particular brand name. And I’m really disappointed that more and more food courts/eateries are replaced by this listed co.!
But I believe, ultimately, we as the consumers can make a wise choice. -
Sometimes we just want to fill our stomachs when out shopping. Don’t always fancy all the exotic and expensive foodstalls. Think reasonably priced old fashioned food maybe a thing of the past soon. The small time stall owners don’t stand a chance and are phased out rapidly by the bigger boys. Fast foods used to be expensive but relative to the new offerings at foodcourts. the value meals seem much cheaper.

I realise I keep buying buns from Fxxx Lxxxxx. Nice size for my kids, won't fill up too much before meals.
