[Jurong West] Primary Schools
-
I am thinking of doing PV at West Grove.
I tried looking at the balloting history but didnt find the table for 2011 and 2012.
Any idea if phase 2B for WG required balloting less than 1km for these 2 years?
The other school that I am looking to PV is Frontial. However, the school is new and I am a FTWM. I am worried that they do not have enuff activties for me to clock 40 hrs.
Headache now. -

MOE did not break down number of pupils registered, by distance range.
(ie. less than 1 km, between 1 to 2 km, beyond 2 km)
Nor breakdown by SC / PR registered.
you may however contact the school, inquire detailed breakdown (if keen) -
If within 1-2 Km any chance for Rulang School in phase 2B?

even for Phase 2B :-
Balloting was conducted for Singapore citizenship children, residing within 1km of Rulang school. The same applies to Phase 2C Rulang.
Those staying beyond 1 km (in your case: you're > 2km even if you PV ) - zero chance.

Hi, there
Really need some advise from experienced parents here.
My daughter (Singapore Citizen) is going to P1 next year and we are staying <1km from Rulang. Since we didn’t manage to get into the school’s PV program like many other parents out there, we are now pondering between giving it a shot for P2C ballot, or, considering another nearby school as our first choice.
What would you do if you were in my situation? Appreciate your advise.
