Dear YumYum, the Sec 1 students can go for any trial, but should quickly go check out the CCA trial dates posted on the school website. Some CCAs may be completing their selection trials soon, eg, Squash’s last trial is today.

hi, what is the purpose of this meeting with the respective consortium Director and Asst director? Due to work commitment, me and DW cannot reach there by 5pm.

        Hi Megacat,
We're all 1st time going to this parents' symposium but I'm guessing the purpose is to get to meet our DS's consortium director & Ass Director, to know their expectations from the kids and parents, meeting our DS form teachers and probably respective subject teachers and any doubts that parents may ask.
But parent Chandelier did encourage us to attend although slides may be uploaded in the school websites.

So it's fine to be late than not to attend. I believe many parents will come in much later.

My ds is in 1-A1. Can I check with fellow parents if there are any assignment (written or reading) given to the class? A bit concerned as my son has been attending CCA trials, coming back late & being very relaxed as he said that he has no assignments.

Can I also know the colour requirement of the subject files as ds is not very certain.

            Thanks alot!

Same for my ds. Quite relaxed so far. He only had little CL homework. Maybe the teachers have not started the engine yet.

Oh, is there any colour requirement for the files? I don't remember seeing folders in the book list.

Will there be any test for term 1?

                2 parts.
At consortium level, mainly getting introduced to d consortium staff n Dir. etc will speak on matters specific to dat consortium.
At S1 level, Dr Hon wld address d parents + other staff will brief on various program n expectations, CCA etc..
If u missed it, u can get d key points fr slides or handouts, then seek elaboration fr consortium staff. They r always willing to assist.

The colours RING files varies from classes/teachers/subjects. The subject teachers will tell e boys which colour files they want for that specific subject. As for class term test, attached is the link ~ http://apps.hci.edu.sg/booking/week.php?year=2012&month=01&day=18&area=21&room=115
