I have a lot of children cloths, toys and assessment books for P1 including exam paper to give away. Can anyone advise where to donate to the needy in Singapore but not salvation army? :thankyou:

It seems that the Book Collection for African kids Year 2013, the drive has not started yet.

Maybe you would like to donate to:

          New2U Thrift Shop :

          http://www.scwo.org.sg/index.php/new2u-thrift-shop

          is located at Waterloo Street...

Anyway , when late spouse passed away , I donated all his clothings, shoes to a mosque.....because I find Chinese they are fussy to get preowned things from someone who has passed away....

Hi, thanks for the lead. Was also thinking of where to donate used but rather new stuff, other than salvation army. πŸ˜„

I know that Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre at Jurong collects assessment books, because they have a free tuition service for needy students. Not sure if they accept clothing, though.

                Their website is http://www.lovingheartjc.org/.
