Punggol East By-Election coming ? MP steps down

OMG.... the fishball hawkers were there....Everyone really siam the grass as it is still muddy. The harmony square next to the temples was filled with people - that's where the ice-cream and fish-ball hawkers were stationed. The audience at the front were more vocal while those at the back more reserved.
Lilian very 'zai' tonight. She's confident and cool throughout, very clear on what she was doing, right to the very end. And yes, since WP did not get the Thursday night rally, they will be here again tomorrow night. Can see they're putting in a lot of efforts to win our votes, right down to the truck with loud speakers reminding voters to vote for WP and LLL, and informing voters about the rally timing and location.
There was another 'star' lawyer newcomer which I got to hear and weren't able to see from afar. Will catch up on the videos tomorrow.
Thursday night, RP is lucky to get the better location, which is this very location tonight. PAP's location is not that ideal as there are less surrounding flats.
Ok, gotta log off now, good night!
I couldn't make it last night as ds is sick and kids have work.... But I was watching the live streaming throughout. Actually the live streaming is good as we can see their expression, etc... dh was asking me to continue with live streaming tonight in the comfort of our house. But I was like... it's different to be there physically.
I was urging the kids to complete all their work so that I can potentially go for the last night...but.... I got teleconference at 10.30pm. Let's see how it goes.
Now wondering what PAP will say on thursday. But by then WP won't have a chance to rebutt. -
I love by-election. Every morning when I receive newspaper, there is always new goodies from government. Today is the increase in medifund. Can we have by-election a few times a year? :please:

Just as they introduce FT to make our lives better, we should also introdue some OP to make their jobs easier.
YES.
Anyhow introduce FT without even expanding infrastructure beforehand. It is time we should do the same.
I am starting to like your humour..

Dennis Tan also said something else that I think the PAP should take note of:
\"If Lee Li Lian is voted in as the MP for Punggol East, the people of Punggol East will not only just get Lee Li Lian, they will get a new team of vibrant, energetic and passionate grassroots volunteers... Our volunteers do not need privileges to serve. There is no free parking... No priority for primary one places. No public service awards. No Istana tea party. We peel our own coupons when we go and help out in grassroots activities.\"
:rotflmao:
In military parlance, it's called will to fight. Your grassroots volunteers still got that or not? -

I'm not a gambler, if one makes a decision, I can only hope one makes an informed one, not roll the dice and hope for the best.
Wow, no wonder I felt a prickling sensation in the middle of the night.... -
