Oh dear, if I'm you I will speak to the teacher to listen to her side of the story. Will bring it up to the Principal if I'm not convinced that it was done for a good reason.
Hi,pinkhippo:
Hi,
I have a problem here, my girl is in P1 this year, she told me her Chinese teacher wil throw their workbooks on the floor and let them come out and pick it up.
I like to check is it happen to your kid's class also?
I personally felt this is very bad to the kids, is not the exma papers or test papers, just a normal workbooks and worksheets, just don't understand why the teacher will throw it on the floor.
Can someone advise me what should i do, thks
Probably our kids are in the same class..my son told me that too...not the first time it happened..and he can't answer me why the teacher did that..
I wanted to know what is the reason...:( -
Hi Cacia,
Is the Chinese teacher with v long hair and young one? She is only 25+, if I not wrong. Ya my girl also telling me she did it few times in a week, she told me this Monday she just did it again
Hi Sembgal & Gluttonish,
Thks for the advise, I hope can get the parents of that class to go complaint together, then I think the Principal will look into it. If I only one go I think they won't take any action in the end. Hope can find out few more parents belong to this class and discuss what actions to take to this young teacher :slapshead: -

I checked with friend who is Chinese teacher. She told me throw books on floor is very wrong, because books should be distributed to the children on their tables. Is that Chinese teacher a trainee teacher who just stepped into the working world? Hopelessly disappointed to know there is such a teacher around. Young one some more.Hi Cacia,

Just for info, the wooden floor area with 2 ponds near the p1A/B classes is very slippery. Please be extra careful during raining days. Few parents had complain that they fell down. Please tell yr kids not to walk there if its wet.

It would be disastrous if the children slipped and fell into the pond. Pray hard nothing bad happens. -
HI pinkhippo,
Yes…i think she is quite young. The parents meeting session will be in March.
Unless we wait and bring out on that day.
If not, wondering can we write on their handbook? -
:scratchhead: See age and hair not accurate leh. Some on the Sch website long hair but after that in person short hair Liao. Btw is she incharge of any CCA?
-
Hi Sembgal,
She is not a training teacher she had 5 year experience, I manage to dig out more info from the website. Discussed with my husband, we going to write in to the Principal this week and ask for a reason for doing so. Hope by next week the Chinese teacher will wake up and not doing unreasonable things again. -

How are your p1 kids getting on? Mine came back more happy these few days. Should be enjoying school now. But i am wonder why everyday kids change place or is it free sitting?
Parents are not allowed into the sch during recess and after school? How sad, like sending kids to cage. I thought MOE want sch and pArents involvement towards kids and are more open to parents? Why now back to our old sch days again. May we suggest installing CC camera in every class so that we can log in to see how our kids doing in class and we can also correct their behaviour when they got home. In that case we are helping our kids and teachers.
