You don't have to unite the opposition parties. You only have to unite the opposition voters.

      Chay! any better one

Got. SDA, look for somewhere other than Punggol East SMC and Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC to run in 2015/2016 if you want to keep your deposits. πŸ˜†[/quote]Yap! JB Iskandar :imanangel:

          Surprise surprise

We are pleasantly surprised by the win and the huge difference.

Congratulation to WP and thank you PE residents.

And a historic win! Why? A four corner fight and the only woman to contest won!

          Exactly!

This is TRUE victory and a really tight slap! But whether the driver will wake up or not, I'm not too sure. Let's wait for more good news if there is any.

I wonder if Joo Chiat will be absorbed into a GRC in next GE?

Was telling dh... might be a blessing in disguise for Dr KPK. If he is not elected, he can have time for his young children.

Same thoughts here. At 40, he's still young. ζ₯ζ—₯ζ–Ήι•Ώ, still have lots of time ahead. As of now, family more important. Lost time/moments cannot be recovered once children grow up.

in singapore ? 40 considered old already, eldershield kicks in!!! Considered old, useless , Time to give way.

That is a swing of 7000 votes!

PAP ahead by 4000+ in GE & now WP ahead by 3000

Indeed palm print on the cheek

PAP member is a doctor by profession. Actually the WP member is also new…so this is indeed a good fight. I like it.

I'm glad we are moving towards true democracy. Judging by the way elections have panned out and the growing number of quality people joining the opposition camp, another GRC or two falling to the opposition in the next GE is a real possibility. I'll be looking forward to the next parliamentary session and see how MPs from both the ruling party and the opposition perform and react to this wind of change.

I am glad to have another opposition member in parliament. More can be done to serve the citizens and to speak out.

Yes, it would be good to have more people from the opposition camp who are passionate about serving to tilt the balance of power in parliament a little more in order for policies to be genuinely debated before being adopted. I really hope for young hopefuls such as Hazel Poa and Tony Tan to make it to parliament in the next GE. I know next to nothing about social mobility until Tony Tan spoke with passion and rigour about it. These people knows what needs done for the future generation.
