      That is a swing of 7000 votes!

      PAP ahead by 4000+ in GE & now WP ahead by 3000

      Indeed palm print on the cheek :evil:

        PAP member is a doctor by profession. Actually the WP member is also new…so this is indeed a good fight. I like it.

            I'm glad we are moving towards true democracy. Judging by the way elections have panned out and the growing number of quality people joining the opposition camp, another GRC or two falling to the opposition in the next GE is a real possibility. I'll be looking forward to the next parliamentary session and see how MPs from both the ruling party and the opposition perform and react to this wind of change.

            I am glad to have another opposition member in parliament. More can be done to serve the citizens and to speak out.

            Yes, it would be good to have more people from the opposition camp who are passionate about serving to tilt the balance of power in parliament a little more in order for policies to be genuinely debated before being adopted. I really hope for young hopefuls such as Hazel Poa and Tony Tan to make it to parliament in the next GE. I know next to nothing about social mobility until Tony Tan spoke with passion and rigour about it. These people knows what needs done for the future generation.

                  Maybe PAP would have won if they nominated George Yeo. But he is retired, right?

                        Not if they are too :censored: lazy to build up their grassroots like those in the WP. Too many generals, not enough soldiers... The only way they can make impact now is to join the WP and work from the ground up. But I don't think ego permits that.

                        Singaporeans want only two parties:
                        (1) PAP;
                        (2) PAP lite... uhm I mean WP. πŸ˜†
