      Hi

Does anyone have feedback on CMA Yew Tee/Bukit Batok/Bt Panjang? I stay at CCK. Any recommendations on teachers would be appreciated.:)
My 2 boys just joined the Bukit Panjang branch. So far so good. The teachers are quite encouraging, tells me the boys did well, but need to improve at certain areas to catch up. Some reputable schools that I went for assessments seem only interested to enroll children that are already quite strong in the subject matter and they tell you- Your child is quite weak, cannot catch up with the rest of the class. Maybe you wanna teach him certain concepts first and when your child can do this and that then you come back here.

The point is, if my children are already proficient, need to send to your centre for what?

                Hi Grelim,

thanks for your inputs. Yes I agree with u the pt of enrihcment is to supplement and assist subjects the kids r weak in, if they r good there's no nid for even enrichment.
I just checked out the ctr at Yew tee and signed my boy up for a trial class. The teachers at the center all seem to be PRC/taiwanese. I was speaking to her in Mandarin. While I was there, an indian student asked her a question and she replied in english which startled me a little as it is heavily accented (PRC chinese accent) Not sure if my boy will hv problems understanding the lessons or not as I understand it will be conducted in English. Is it the same at other branches? Anyone can feedback or similar experiences?

BTW anyone care to share your child's details for discount referral? Pls pm me! 🙂

I am wondering about the quality of English used in MC as I am aware that a lot of teachers are prc. Yesterday while I was shopping, I observed a mother-and-son pair conversing. The mother spoke in perfect fluid English while her 5 yr old spoke in Singlish and broken English. With the exception of the Paragon branch, I was also told about the low level of English used. I am wondering if the kids are ever taught English by bilingual prc staff whose first language isn’t English?

                        2.crestar
                        3.cma
