Any parents know if the school has swimming lessons for P3 above students? I heard Anchor Green Primary does. Thank you!

Basic swimming lessons is being offered to P3 only.

However, most kids don't really can swim after the swimming lessons.

The class size is quite big & too few lessons. Not enough practice for the kids to pick up the proper stroke. Prepare to continue with the training from external source.

My kids have their swimming lessons on weekends & they took 3 years (level 1 to 4) to learn all the different styles & proper strokes.

It can be quite dangerous at swimming pool and consider there will be so many students to look after by the teacher-in-charge. I started his swimming since P1 and now he has completed stage 3 after 2 yrs, consider quite slow, partly due to lousy coaches we came across. I hope he can achieve Gold this year and take a break.

No point joining. It is more for those who can't swim. They will start with kicking water with float & your kid already completed stage 3. Will end up wasting his time & your money.

I checked with my son's FT and was told recruitment will start in July (when school goes single session - hopefully). But I also noticed this rule does not apply to all CCAs.

Hmm...if I recall correctly, they had CCA recruitment two Wednesdays ago in the afternoon...maybe its for the upper Pri? My kid's CCA continued as usual.
