non-affiliated boy cheated and ended up last in class. -
JonC:
Yes, in the SA2. So he got zero for his paper, hence became last in class. Actually boys who came in Non-affiliated, should be of good standard. Don't know why need to cheat.

There is this practice in CHS that the HOD Maths would issue an online test right after teaching a lesson. Students are subjected to these regular tests whether or not they had attended the lessons, or if they had been occupied during the earlier parts of the lesson (e.g. prefect duties, taking another test under another subject). Students who fail the tests had to stand in front of the class to endure the teacher's tirade of scoldings.
I feel this is a rather high-handed way of teaching, and isn't a really fair system of true educators. Does anyone else have DSs subjected to this system, or my DS is just telling me stories? I do see the email notices from ACE-learning about the online tests almost every other day.
