NBG likely to leave the Police Force after being dealt with internally. Though his corruption intent is not there, failure to make clear a conflict of interest between him and CS still merit an internal disciplinary punisment.

When witness starts to tell different story from what was previously said in the statement, she becomes a hostile witness. That's why prosecution impeached her credibility midway through the hearing. Not sure if they are in contact with one another but seriously, there is little they can do to help each other when their individual arse is already on fire.

NBG did not get away with the law in this case. There will be a bigger uproar if he gets a guilty verdict. To declare mentally unsound AFTER committing an offence can't get you off the hook. You must be mentally unsound before you commit that offence.

As for the rape case, yes the rapist can try using that as his defence but I am sure the judge will give him extra 4 strokes for saying that aloud.

Somebody asked me this. Is having an EMA sufficient ground for internal disciplinary action? And is a mere failure to declare that lover is working for a sub-contractor to the tenderer sufficiently grave to warrant dismissal from public service especially when he did not take part in the decision to award the contract?
