My girl is in P1 this year. I’ve check the school bus fare with friends who have children taking school bus & within 1km. For my case, I feel it is not drastically overcharging for my distance.
We are paying high each month. However, we are only paying for 9 months instead of 12 months compare to some other bus operator. You might want to take note that no payment for Jun, Nov & Dec as stated in their terms & conditions when we signed up for the school bus service. -
Hi,
I just joined my daughter in this school a couple of weeks ago in primary 3.
She missed few weeks of classes already.
she was attending an international school earlier. hence we are not familiar with the test pattern…
Appreciate if somebody can share some thoughts, how to prepare for the upcoming tests in early march.
Any suggestions on what books to buy and prepare is greatly appreciated…
Thanks

This is the first year that they are doing the Term 1 progress tests as they had small assessment tests during the year in P1 and P2. You should have received a note on what they will cover so it should be enough just to check that she understands what was covered in maths and Is OK with her English spelling. It should be quite simple.
I don't know about Mother Tongue as it will depend on what she is taking. -

If you did not receive the form to register, I'm sure you can ask the class teacher for it.

Hi,
Yes. I have registered for the English/Science workshop.
Does anybody know any good after school care/tuition nearby…?
Since my office is usually long working hours, find difficult to help her finish all the home work…

the school transport is okay since they recently changed the bus vendors but no student care there. -
I am planning to enrol my girl in OLGC for next year pri 1 (live within 1-2km but under phase 2C, so hope that is okay). can anyone tell me what time must the child be in school, and what is pick up time?
I am trying to see if I can coordinate sending my boy (who is in Catholic High School) and my girl to and from their schools.
thanks
