      Fortunately, i went last wk.....

            No worries, there will be more bak kwa stores by then. Also not all of 6.9 mil like to eat bak kwa.

              Then we have to go market and buy meat and do our home made bak kwa. My wife did once before, not bad. šŸ˜„

                  Any idea how much 1 kg costs? Do you know if price will now go up in view of CNY being end of the month?

                    I went there on 25 Dec, each kg cost $46 for non-spicy.
                    Based on the past years' trends, the price will gradually goes up as CNY is approaching.

                      Thanks for the info. Thot of eating them now before price goes up. But the problem is there are only 3 outlets out of which 2 are in Chinatown n its not easy trying to drive into Chinatown.

                        I always take mrt to chinatown and then walk there. Usually I will go with hubby because we will buy at least 4kg.
                        Lim Chee Guan seems to have only 2 outlets; one at Chinatown and another at Ion Orchard.
