Other than the plastic bag thing, I do all these way before I got married. I must be suffering from premature aunty syndrome :rotflmao:

I used to hv this habit of going to supermarket 3-5 times per week. Becos some things are cheaper here and something's are cheaper there. It became like family outing. My hubby would push the trolley, with my then infant son in it. They would go on a learning trip and I always hear my hubby saying,\"this is watermelon!\"

This buying from where is cheap, I find, is also very aunty. Long time ago, I just buy from wherever is convenient.

I think I'm the opposite. Last time I will compare price before buying. Now I just buy almost everything from the big NTUC and urgent food stuff from the small Sheng Siong (incomplete stock) near my block. No more checking price.

Most of the time grocery shopping at NTUC is either on Thursday or weekend....dats when new cycle of promotions are released! Lol

I will tell my hub, dun buy first perhaps the item might be on promo on Thursday/fri....

I also no longer check the pricing. Too tiring to do so during weekly grocery trips. However, I am also not qualified to join the Rich Tai Tai Club

last time used to compare prices. Then realise the discounts do not justify the savings over the expenses spend the parking, petrol  & time consumed.

but still look out for sales for higher cost items that could give more savings esp. kitchen appliances.
